It is a proud moment for everyone at MPRO 9. On 4 October 2026, our company was honoured with the AI & Technology Excellence Award 2026 at the IBS Awards 2026 in Dubai, the International Business Summit & Achiever Awards. Mrs. Pavithra C R, Founder of M Pro9 Private Limited, received the award on behalf of the company.

For a growing technology company with offices in Mysuru and Dubai, this is more than a trophy on a shelf. It recognises what our engineers, partners and supporters have worked towards: technology that solves real-world problems and creates a meaningful impact. It is also a reminder of why we started.

A Proud Moment at the IBS Awards 2026, Dubai

The IBS Awards, formally the International Business Summit & Achiever Awards, are organised by Sabrang Film Productions as “a platform for business connections, leadership and recognition across industries.” Held on 4 October 2026, the IBS Awards Dubai 2026 edition brought business leaders, professionals, innovators and community achievers together for leadership keynotes, business showcases, networking and the IBS Achiever Awards ceremony. Its theme was simple and fitting: “Connect. Collaborate. Grow.”

Thirty-four honourees were recognised at the ceremony, from fields as varied as infrastructure, real estate, healthcare, hospitality, media and philanthropy. MPRO 9 was among them, receiving the AI & Technology Excellence Award 2026. The recognition is recorded on the official IBS Awards honouree page for Pavithra C R (M Pro9).

What the AI & Technology Excellence Award 2026 Recognises

MPRO 9 is an Intelligent Technology Solutions Company. We help organisations turn ideas into practical, innovative and future-ready solutions, from business applications and enterprise platforms to AI-powered systems, intelligent automation, and embedded and IoT products. A large part of our work applies these capabilities to sustainability and the circular economy, and it is this work that Mrs. Pavithra C R’s honouree profile highlights, across three areas.

MRV and circular-economy intelligence

We develop Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) software for circular-economy and environmental projects. These systems support data collection, real-time monitoring, material traceability, verification, compliance tracking and auditable reporting for municipalities and organisations, so that environmental work can be measured, reported and audited with confidence.

A Sustainable Technology Park for plastic recovery

MPRO 9 is developing a Sustainable Technology Park focused on recovering and recycling plastics covered under EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Categories I, II and III. It is designed to support municipalities, businesses and other organisations with plastic recovery, recycling, traceability and responsible resource management.

AI and robotics for waste management and resource operations

We are integrating AI and robotics into environmental and circular-economy operations, and exploring how they can improve material identification, sorting, operational efficiency, data intelligence and workforce productivity, and make waste-management systems easier to scale.

Our platforms put this work into practice. WASTRAQ, our AI-powered circular-economy intelligence platform, brings waste-collection tracking, GPS and smart-bin monitoring, MRF analytics, and EPR and ESG reporting into a single system, and is running as a pilot deployment in Mysuru with Namma Mysore Foundation. KARBANTRAQ, our AI-powered carbon MRV platform, applies the same data-first approach to carbon projects.

Mrs. Pavithra C R: Leadership Rooted in Community and Technology

Mrs. Pavithra C R founded M Pro9 Private Limited with a focus on technology, sustainability and environmental innovation. As her IBS Awards profile notes, she encourages practical solutions shaped by communities, institutions, businesses and individuals working together.

That belief has deep roots. Mrs. Pavithra C R is also the founder of Namma Mysore Foundation (NMF), which works on environmental conservation, heritage preservation, waste management, wildlife protection and women empowerment in Mysuru. NMF is a close partner of MPRO 9 and a pilot site for our platforms, so our technology is tested where it matters most: in the field, alongside the people who will use it.

Seeing her receive an AI and technology honour on an international stage is a proud moment for our whole team. For women in technology, and for those considering a career in it, we hope it is an encouragement to build, lead and aim high.

A Double Honour for the MPRO 9 Family

The evening brought a second recognition for our group. Mr. Dasharath K, Managing Director of MPRO 9 and the inventor of WASTRAQ, received the Smart Waste Innovation Award 2026 at the same ceremony. His honouree profile describes WASTRAQ as a waste-tracking platform with automated ESG and compliance reporting and patent-pending AI waste-composition analysis.

Two honours in a single evening, one for AI and technology excellence and one for smart waste innovation, reflect the two sides of what we do: deep technology, applied to real environmental problems.

What This Recognition Means for Us

“This recognition inspires us to keep innovating, pushing boundaries, and building technology that creates a meaningful impact.” — Team MPRO 9

Awards are not the reason we build technology, but recognition from industry leaders matters. For a growing technology startup, it is an independent signal that our direction is right. In practical terms, it means:

  • Validation for our team: the engineers, developers and designers who turn ideas into working systems every day.
  • Confidence for clients and partners: the platforms they build and deploy with us have been recognised on an international stage.
  • Momentum in the UAE and the GCC: we serve the region through MPRO 9 - FZCO in Dubai, and this recognition strengthens our presence there.
  • Responsibility: to keep raising the bar on quality, transparency and real-world impact.

Looking Ahead: Technology for a More Circular and Sustainable Tomorrow

Our award graphic carries a line that sums up our direction: building technology for a more circular and sustainable tomorrow. The work ahead follows from it: strengthening our MRV platforms, taking WASTRAQ and KARBANTRAQ to more cities and organisations, advancing the Sustainable Technology Park, and applying AI, automation, computer vision and IoT wherever better data can lead to better decisions.

We also remain what we have always been: an engineering partner for organisations that want to turn ideas into practical, future-ready solutions, whether that is a web or mobile application, an enterprise platform, an AI-powered system, or an embedded and IoT product.

Thank You to Everyone Who Is Part of This Journey

Receiving the AI & Technology Excellence Award 2026 is a milestone, not a finish line, and it belongs to everyone who has been part of this journey: our team, our clients and partners, Namma Mysore Foundation, our mentors and advisors, and the many well-wishers who have supported us from the start. Our thanks also go to the IBS Awards and Sabrang Film Productions for the recognition and for bringing together such an inspiring community of achievers in Dubai.

Here’s to more milestones, and to a sustainable future.
